Is your knife tragically blunt? Are you considering replacing your dull blade with a new and sharp one?

Then, we have a solution for you: the beautiful knives of Seki, the city of bladesmithing, are what you are looking for!

When searching for the perfect knife or knife set, it is difficult to recommend one that would suit everyone’s preferences. Culinary traditions, as well as the characteristics, experience, or even the hand size of knife users vary from nation to nation, making the definition of the ‘ideal knife’ harder than it might seem.

However, we firmly believe that Japanese knives, carefully developed through the course of the country’s long history of swordsmanship, meet every need and expectation!

Why Japanese knives?

Firstly, because of the variety of blade shapes, Japanese knives can easily fulfill any culinary task.

Secondly, it is very simple to find universal pieces that will become versatile favourites in and outside of the kitchen.

Why Kanetsune?

The brand ‘Kanetsune’ bears the name of one of the most famous swordsmiths of the 14-15th century. Kanetsune’s name was well-known not only among the samurais, but also over the sea. Many of his swords are still kept and can be seen in Seki’s Katana museum.

Staying true to Kanetsune’s name, the brand continues to produce the highest quality of knives, implementing new ideas while following old and traditional techniques.

Don’t forget: quality is always important! Let’s assume that we use our knife at least 300 days a year. Now, imagine the state of that knife in 10 years…

In short, we would highly recommend investing in a quality piece, which is going to cut precisely, be easy to sharpen and stay reliable even after decades.
