This is a field knife of Japanese traditional ”剣鉈 KEN-NATA” style.
The shape of blade is a kind of “切付 KIRITSUKE” type. The blade of 150mm length is very nice size and utility.
The classical KURO-UCHI finished blade is “SANMAI” of TAKEFU SHIRO (white) #2 core sandwiched by soft irons.
This knife is forged by a skilful craftman in 越前武生 ECHIZEN TAKEFU.
The name ”黒尾根 KURO-ONE” meams black ridge of a mountain in English.
