Thanks to the buckle lock, it can be opened wide with a single movement. The design is reminiscent of the gamaguchi bags worn with kimonos, but thanks to the shoulder strap, it has been transformed into a modern, eye-catching fashion bag.
The shoulder strap is detachable, and as a "bag in a bag" it can be placed in a larger bag to keep your most important "accessories" for the day. Then, before the evening walk/party/meeting/cinema date/etc. just attach the shoulder strap back and you are ready to go. Each piece in the Wabisuke collection is a handcrafted product designed and made by the Kataoka workshop in Kyoto.
TATSUGO design - inspired by the leaf of the Japanese sago palm, this exotic and beautiful pattern from southern Japan has long been used on kimonos. A black - white - crimson elegance.
Made from a sturdy woven 100% cotton fabric with a unique design and 100% cotton lining.
Care: not waterproof. Can be cleaned with warm water and a little detergent to remove any stains. Do not soak.
