The name of a beautiful silk fabric, from which the obi belt for kimonos is woven is called Nishijin and made in Kyoto. The bottle chiller, inspired by this fabric, is made from abrasion-resistant and stain-resistant polyester, while the inside is lined with an innovative antibacterial and odour-repellent fabric developed in Japan.
Whether it's a wine, sake or other bottle, the chiller is designed to fit any bottle up to 8.5 cm in diameter. Easy to store, since it can be opened flat (open until you here a click)
When using, get your cooling pad out of the freezer and together with a reusable absorbent pad put it in the inner pocket, to have dew condensation absorbed during cooling. Fold the chiller pushing on the sides and insert the bottle. It wraps tight and an elastic band at the bottom prevents the bottle from slipping out.
KAGOME: Lightener and cherry blossom (red - black)
The gold threaded, squared Kagome pattern is highlighted by deep scarlet red and black colours in a decent embrace of fans and cherry blossom.
This unique handcrafted product is delivered in a gift box made of Japanese washi paper with a gold and silver pattern to match its style.
The box contains 1 decorative bottle chiller, 1 cooling pad with cooling gel, 5 absorbent pads (to be used repeatedly until it loses its absorbency completely).
